EUDR Update: Current status of implementation at the Jokey Group

We would like to provide an update on the current status of implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) within the Jokey Group.

With the support of external experts, the Jokey Group launched a project at an early stage to prepare for the requirements of the EUDR. As part of this project, the requirements relevant to our company were analysed, an implementation plan was developed, and the necessary adjustments to our processes and systems were prepared.

Due to the postponement of the Regulation’s effective date by a further year, the EUDR requirements for large and medium-sized enterprises now generally apply from 30 December 2026. Against this background, we have once again stepped up our implementation activities at the start of August 2026.

We are currently reviewing our existing implementation plan, taking into account the regulatory developments that have taken place in the meantime. These include, in particular, the amendments to the EUDR adopted in December 2025, as well as the supplementary legal acts and technical specifications adopted by the European Commission in July 2026.

We are currently focusing in particular on:

• the changes to the scope of products covered by the Regulation,
• the technical requirements for the EUDR information system,
• the impact of the new requirements on our products, processes and IT systems.

The delegated act presented by the European Commission in July 2026 to amend the scope of products is currently still undergoing the scrutiny process by the European Parliament and the Council and has therefore not yet entered into force. We are continuously monitoring and assessing further developments.

Our aim is to fully analyse the implications of the amended legal and technical requirements and to implement all necessary adjustments in good time before the date of application applicable to the Jokey Group. In doing so, we are focusing on compliance with regulatory requirements, transparency throughout the supply chain, and reliable cooperation with our customers and business partners.
